Spring Park Residents’ Association (SPRA)
SPRA was founded in 1932 to protect and enhance the amenities of the area, and this continues today by working with other local residents associations and Croydon Council to develop local planning policies that reflect the character and needs of the area.
This is achieved by monitoring planning applications and supporting residents where these are viewed as inappropriate or out of character and reporting defective pavements, kerbstones, streetlights and potholes. Supporting local schools and groups such as Neighbourhood Watch, Friends of Millers Pond and Friends of Spring Park Wood and organising a monthly Clean Up of local green areas.
